Microsoft released an announcement admitting that some Outlook.com users may encounter “Error code 550 5.7.520 Message blocked” error when sending emails containing attachments.
Some users may not be able to send emails with attachments through their Outlook.com mailboxes,” Microsoft said.
Note: One of the solutions Microsoft is currently offering is for affected users to first upload attachments to OneDrive and then share the link to the OneDrive file with the recipient.
When composing an email, users click the Add Attachment button and then select “OneDrive” to add a previously uploaded file, or click the “Upload and Share” button to add the attachment to their online storage.
