VR enthusiast named Luna on X shared a picture, they said the picture was a GameStop employee sent them.

The image shows a promo card indicating that the Quest 3 will ship on October 10th. The image also contains information about the store’s inventory system, showing two SKUs, one priced at $500 (currently around RMB 3,650) and the other priced at $650 (currently around RMB 4,745). This October 10th ship date also previously appeared in an Amazon Canada listing that was pulled in August.

When Meta announced the Quest 3 in June, it confirmed that the base version would have 128GB of storage and be priced at $500. The company also said there would be a version with higher storage capacity, but didn’t reveal how much storage it would have or how much it would cost.

GameStop Inventory System indicates (if true) that this high-end version will be priced at $650, but how much storage will it have?

The Quest 2 is currently available in two storage capacities, 128GB for $300 and 256GB for $350 (initially $400.) The larger price difference between the two versions of the Quest 3 suggests that the higher-tiered version will have more than 256GB of storage, possibly 512 GB. Of course, it could be just 256GB, but comes with something like the previously revealed Of course, it’s also possible that it’s only 256GB, but comes with accessories like the previously revealed Elite Strap headset or Charging Dock.

In announcing the Quest 3, Meta said the headset is 40 percent thinner than its predecessor thanks to pancake flat lenses, more than doubles GPU performance, and features a dual-color camera and depth sensor for mixed reality and scene understanding.

Meta is expected to open up pre-orders for the Quest 3 and reveal more specs and details about the new headset at its annual Connect conference on Wednesday.
