According to the Wall Street Journal, Meta has been snapping up the artificial intelligence training chip Nvidia H100 and building a data center. It plans to develop a new artificial intelligence system (i.e., a large language model) in early 2024. Its functions Will be as powerful as OpenAI’s GPT-4.

IT House learned from the Wall Street Journal that the function of this model will be several times more powerful than the commercial version of Llama 2. It is planned that the model (details are subject to change) will help other companies build services that produce complex text, analysis and other output.

Llama 2 is an open-source AI language model launched by Meta in July. It is distributed by Microsoft’s cloud Azure service and competes with OpenAI’s ChatGPT and Google’s Bard.

Meta reportedly formed a team earlier this year to build the model, with the goal of accelerating the creation of AI tools that can mimic human expressions.
