Mercedes-Benz announced that during the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES 2024) in 2024, the company will demonstrate the “next generation” to realize its vision.”

According to reports, Mercedes-Benz will release the latest generation of MBUX human-computer interaction system during CES 2024. It uses the Unity high-resolution game engine and claims to bring the “Hey Mercedes” voice assistant into a “new” visual dimension. It runs on the MB.OS in-vehicle operating system developed by Mercedes-Benz. At the same time, Mercedes-Benz will showcase a number of innovations in the digital field, including providing functions similar to human-computer interaction.

The company’s CEO Ola Källenius said that Mercedes-Benz is using AI to provide “human-like” interactions through the MBUX virtual assistant to reshape the digital experience of its occupants. It will “empathize” with the user’s driving style and emotions, and will Defining what “digital luxury” will look like in the future.

At the same time, Mercedes-Benz will also display the CLA-Class concept car and the prototype of the electric G-Class SUV (Note: previously named EQG) for the first time in North America during CES 2024. In addition, Mercedes-Benz’s exhibition lineup also includes “exciting” developments in the field of automotive, as well as first-of-its-kind partnerships. Mercedes-Benz said its booth at CES 2024 will be located at 4941 West Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center.

It was previously reported that the Mercedes-Benz CLA-Class concept car has made its world premiere during the 2023 German International Automobile and Smart Mobility Expo (IAA MOBILITY 2023) in September this year. The car is built on the new Mercedes-Benz Modular Architecture (MMA) platform, which further transforms the cutting-edge technological achievements of the VISION EQXX concept car. It is equipped with an “advanced and efficient electric drive system” and is positioned as a “luxury new generation electric car”.

The interior of the car is equipped with a “super-simulated” cockpit, and the suspended MBUX super screen that runs through the cockpit continues the mini-LED technology and immersive 3D graphics display of the VISION EQXX concept car.

In June of this year, Mercedes-Benz announced that U.S. car owners can use the ChatGPT chatbot in some luxury models. The company said ChatGPT is compatible with approximately 900,000 vehicles equipped with the MBUX intelligent human-computer interaction system, and owners can opt into the test program through the Mercedes app or voice command and download the ChatGPT feature wirelessly.
