It is reported that the shortage of spare parts supply that began in the fourth quarter of 2023 and the replacement of some models have affected the supply of some new cars in the first quarter of 2024, especially imported models, resulting in the delivery of some models in the Chinese market being unable to fully meet customer needs. However, Mercedes-Maybach S-Class sales still increased by 13% year-on-year. Mercedes-Benz said that the relevant supply situation has gradually improved in the first quarter of this year and will better meet customer needs in the future.

The delivery of domestically produced Mercedes-Benz C-Class increased by nearly 50% year-on-year, and the delivery of domestically produced Mercedes-Benz GLC increased by more than 20% year-on-year. The new domestically produced Mercedes-Benz E-Class, which will be launched in December 2023, has also received positive feedback from the market.
