MediaTek’s Wi-Fi 7 chip Filogic 360 is certified

MediaTek’s new Wi-Fi 7 chip Filogic 360 has been certified by the Wi-Fi Alliance and is expected to be installed on new Wi-Fi 7 terminal devices.

According to previous reports, MediaTek released Filogic 880 and Filogic 380 as early as May 2022, using a 6nm process, which is officially said to be the industry’s first Wi-Fi 7 solution. Among them, Filogic 380 is used in consumer electronics terminal equipment, which can bring Wi-Fi-7 and Bluetooth 5.3 support to smartphones, tablets, TVs, laptops, set-top boxes and OTT TV sticks.

Filogic 380 supports dual-band, dual-concurrency, up to a peak Wi-Fi 7 speed of 6.5Gbps. Additionally, the chip supports the latest Wi-Fi 7 technologies such as 360MHz bandwidth support, 4096-QAM, MLO, and MRU.
