According to reports, MediaTek’s AI processor APU and AI development platform NeuroPilot have built a complete terminal-side AI and generative AI computing ecosystem, which can accelerate the application development and landing of edge AI computing, and strengthen the performance of large language models and generative AI applications.

MediaTek said that the OPPO big model AndesGPT by using 4-bit quantization technology, under the effect of precision without dropping points, the big model will gradually land on the end side and achieve better performance.

As previously reported, OPPO Boo Assistant announced the latest progress of the OPPO AndesGPT big model, which made it to the September ranking of the SuperCLUE measurement benchmark.

According to the report, AndesGPT is OPPO’s self-trained generative large language model, which was launched in early August with OPPO’s intelligent assistant, Boo, in order to upgrade the kernel level of the traditional voice assistant. In the SuperCLUE top ten basic ability list, AndesGPT scored 98.33 in the “knowledge and encyclopedia” ability test, ranking first in China after GPT4.

OPPO previously said that in the future, the model will continue to support the AI capabilities of OPPO’s intelligent assistant Boo, which will gradually be applied to more OPPO core products.
