Mark Gurman says Apple’s AR/VR headset can run Final Cut Pro and Logic Pro apps

Bloomberg Mark Gurman said in the latest Power On newsletter that Apple’s upcoming AR/VR headset can run Final Cut Pro and Logic Pro software.

Apple announced yesterday that its professional video editing software Final Cut Pro and professional audio production software Logic Pro will land on the iPad on May 23. These two software were previously only available on the Mac.

It was previously reported that Mark Gurman said that Apple’s AR/VR headset can run thousands of existing applications for the iPad and convert them into a 3D interface for use.

Apple may need to tweak the iPad versions of Final Cut Pro and Logic Pro to run on xrOS, the operating system that runs on the headset but may already be in development.

Apple is expected to unveil the headset at its WWDC 2023 keynote event on June 5.
