In February this year, Maple Leaf Motors, a joint venture between Geely and Lifan, launched its first battery-changing model, the Maple Leaf 60S, starting at 139,800 yuan. Now, it has been officially announced that it will launch a “rechargeable and replaceable” pure electric safety car, the Maple Leaf 60s PRO. The new car will be officially launched on September 26, 2022.
According to reports, the new car will be built based on the GBRC charging and swapping modular platform, focusing on battery swapping technology. The body size of the new car remains unchanged, with a length, width and height of 4730/1804/1530mm and a wheelbase of 2700mm.
In terms of appearance, the Maple Leaf 60s PRO will follow the styling design of the Maple Leaf 60s, and the lines of the whole vehicle are also a reflection of a sense of movement, and three body colors of starlight white, morning fog gray and Yuandai blue are available.
There are not many bright spots in the interior, mainly blue configuration, and also uses color-blocking leather seats, the central touch screen display with the digital display instrument panel.
The rear seat of the new car has ample space, and the flat floor design improves ride comfort. At the same time, the car also has a 430L trunk space.
The power is unknown. You can refer to the Maple Leaf 60S. The latter is equipped with a permanent magnet synchronous motor with a maximum power of 100kw. It matches two battery packs of ternary lithium and lithium iron phosphate, respectively. The cruising range under NEDC conditions can reach 415 km and 407 km.
