LG recently introduced a new refrigerator at IFA 2022, MoodUP, whose biggest innovation is a color-changing LED door panel that adds more style to the interior.
Through an app, users can choose from 22 colors for the upper door panel and 19 colors for the lower door panel, thus changing the color scheme of the refrigerator and the kitchen environment.
In addition users are able to set different themes to change the refrigerator color, including season, mood, location, etc., through different colors to a different feeling.
In addition to colorful colors, LG’s new refrigerator also has a built-in Bluetooth speaker that allows users to connect to the refrigerator via smartphones, tablets, etc. to play their favorite music. Meanwhile, MoodUP’s LED panel can keep changing colors in sync with the music, adding more fun to the kitchen.
The refrigerator also has some thoughtful features, such as when the door sensor detects that the refrigerator compartment has been open for too long, the door panel will flash repeatedly to remind the user that it needs to be closed. When the MoodUP’s motion sensor detects that someone is approaching, the door panel will blink in welcome.
In addition, MoodUP is built with LG’s own On-Device AI chip, which enables MoodUP to upgrade features such as voice recognition as well as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity to improve the user experience.
