LG today released a transcript of an interview with its Nanjing factory, introducing the story behind the “Honeycomb Vest” design language. At the end of the video, LG revealed that a 4K 240Hz monitor model is in the works and can be switched to 1080p 480Hz.

According to previous reports, Samsung has revealed that it will launch a 4K 240Hz OLED display next year, and LG should also launch a 4K 240Hz model at the same time.

Currently, LG’s 4K monitors are available in 4K 160Hz specifications. The latest LG 27GP95U monitor has a 4-narrow bezel design, HDR600 brightness, and is priced at 3,999 CNY.

With the high bandwidth of the latest DP 2.1 interface, 4K 240Hz monitors are expected to be launched in large quantities next year. Monitor manufacturers may begin to release related models at CES in January next year.
