LG has launched a ProBeam BU70QGA laser projector on its official website, with a brightness of up to 7000 ANSI lumens.

According to LG, the device is suitable for meeting rooms or conference centers, has a native 4K UHD resolution, an aspect ratio of 16:9, supports a throw ratio of 1.53~2.45, and can project 40 to 300 inches (about 102 to 762 cm) image.

The BU70QGA laser projector has a contrast ratio of 3 million: 1 and a brightness of up to 7000 ANSI lumens. The life of the laser light source is expected to reach 20,000 hours, and it supports functions such as 1.6x auto zoom, auto focus, and auto keystone.

ANSI lumens is a method for measuring the luminous flux of projectors formulated by the American National Standards Institute. It will measure the average brightness of nine points, which is more accurate in terms of brightness parameters; while some projectors that only mark lumens may only be the original luminous brightness. There is a large brightness attenuation in actual viewing.

The projector supports integration with Creston Connected, provides the Creston RoomView tool, and supports WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity. Other features of the device include Edge Blending, LG One: Quick Share and Daisy Chaining. Additionally, the BU70QGA laser projector is LG’s first laser projector to feature the LG webOS Signage 6.0 system.

In terms of interfaces, the BU70QGA laser projector is equipped with three HDMI 2.0 inputs, HDMI output, DP, two USB-A 2.0, two RJ45 network ports, HDBaseT and other interfaces, has two 5W speakers, and the noise during operation is 31dB to 35dB between.

The LG ProBeam BU70QGA laser projector is already on sale in the U.S. market at a price of $5,999 (currently about 41,153 CNY).
