The monitor features a 27-inch 4K (3840×2160) resolution 1500-segment Mini LED display panel with 2000cd/m² peak brightness and 1000:1 contrast ratio, providing 98% DCI-P3 color gamut and 100% sRGB color gamut.

It also supports HDR 10 display and offers HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort, DV, and 3G-SDI interfaces, the latter three of which also support display output.

In addition, this new surgical display offers optically bonded glass optimized for the surgical environment, improving durability and reliability. 27HQ710S reduces distracting reflections from theater lighting, while the product boasts IP45 and IP32 anti-reflection, splash and fingerprint ratings on the front and back, plus a compact and easy-to-clean design that is still practical overall.

Silas Choi, vice president of LG Business Solutions and head of the B2B Solutions Division, said, “The market for medical displays that deliver bright, high-quality color images in true 4K resolution is expanding, as reflected in the products on display at this year’s MEDICA.” “The 27HQ710S is the result of LG’s efforts to bring its superior LED technology to the medical field. We are confident that this new model will be a valuable addition to the surgical suite.”
