LG Display announced that it will launch new display products at CES 2023, including a 360-degree foldable OLED panel.
LG Display said its 8-inch 360-degree foldable OLED is a revolutionary technology that successfully enables devices to be folded in both directions, resulting in higher utilization and allowing users to choose different profiles according to their needs.
The 360-degree foldable OLED panel’s modular structure ensures durability even when folded more than 200,000 times, and its special folding mechanism minimizes creases in the folded area, according to the report.
In addition, LG Display’s 17-inch foldable OLED can be converted into a tablet or portable display by folding and unfolding, thus optimizing the utilization of laptops in various environments. LG Display says the foldable OLED is virtually crease-free when folded and is equipped with a touchscreen solution that allows people to use the screen with a pen or finger.
