Lenovo’s ThinkPad X1 foldable screen notebook is available now at $2,499

Lenovo today announced that the ThinkPad X1 Fold will be launched globally, with a starting price of US$2,499 (currently price is about RMB 18,318).

ThinkPad X1 Fold 16 Gen 1 was released last year but has not been released for a long time.

In terms of configuration, this notebook can choose from i5-1230U to i7-1260U processors, memory options from 8GB to 32GB LPDDR5-5200, built-in M.2 2242 SSD and optional 256-1TB.

In terms of screen, ThinkPad X1 Fold Gen 2 is equipped with a 16.3-inch OLED screen with a ratio of about 4:3, a resolution of 2,560 x 2,024, SDR brightness of 400 nits, HDR brightness of 600 nits, and 100% DCI-P3 colour domain, the screen bezel is only 8mm. After attaching the keyboard to the lower half of the screen, it can transform into a 12-inch regular laptop.

In other respects, the new generation ThinkPad X1 Fold comes standard with a 48 Wh battery, a 65 W power adapter, two Thunderbolt 4 interfaces, a USB 3.2 Type-C interface and a nano-SIM card slot. The new generation ThinkPad X1 Fold weighs 1.28kg, and the total weight including the stand and keyboard is 1.9kg.
