Lenovo to launch Legion Y17 officially on August 18

Lenovo is prepared to introduce its first smartphone, equipped with the newest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 chipset. The gadget, which has the codename “Halo,” will soon make its official market debut. The launch date of the product for the Chinese market has been formally confirmed by the brand. A few of the device’s key specifications have also been revealed.

Lenovo Legion Y17 Launch Date

Lenovo has officially confirmed that the brand will host a launch event in China on August 17th, 2022 at 07 PM local time. The Lenovo Legion Y17 will be launched at the same event. The brand has also teased some of the key specifications of the device via shared teaser images. The device will have a triple rear camera setup with a primary 50-megapixels 1/1.5-inch sensor with the support for optical image stabilization.

The primary camera can record videos up to 8K resolution at 30FPS. Coming down to the auxiliary lenses, it will have a 13-megapixels secondary ultrawide lens and a 2-megapixels depth-sensing camera. The device will have a 5100mAh battery with support for 68W charging which can charge the device from 0 to 80% in just 34 minutes.

The brand further claims that it can last up to 8.5 hours on gaming, 18 hours on continuous video playback and 35 hours of music playback on a single full charge. So that was all the brand had to reveal regarding the upcoming device. Further specifications and information will be revealed officially during the launch itself.
