The latest version of Lenovo’s Slim 7 laptop weighs 2.9 pounds (1.31 kg) and comes with a maximum 14-inch, 2880 x 1800 pixel, 120Hz IPS LCD display (or FHD OLED screen), Intel Core i7-1360P processor, 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage space.

Lenovo said the Lenovo Slim 7 will be available in April this year for $730 (about RMB 5001) and up. The entry-level configuration will come with 12th-generation Intel Core chips instead of Intel’s newer 13th-generation processors.

Known outside of North America as the Lenovo Yoga Slim 6i, the laptop will be available with Intel Core i5-1240P, Core i7-1260P, Core i5-1340P and Core i7-1360P processor options.

While these are all 28W, 12-core, 16-thread chips, the newer models have a higher base and core frequencies and incorporate new power-saving features that Intel says will provide longer battery life.

The expected starting price of $730 is likely to be limited to the Core i5-1240P chip version.

Other features include two Thunderbolt ports, a 60Wh battery with 65W charging, stereo 2W speakers and a 1080p infrared camera with facial recognition and privacy shutter support. The laptop is available in “Storm Gray” or “Misty Gray” and comes with a 180-degree hinge.
