The Leica SL2-S camera will be launched in 2020 with an initial price of 35,800 CNY. It is found that this camera is currently priced at 37,600 CNY in JD.com’s self-operated store.
The Leica SL2-S camera is equipped with a newly developed 24-megapixel BSI-CMOS photosensitive element and is equipped with the latest Maestro III processor, which not only provides high-speed continuous shooting of up to 25 frames per second in DNG format but also increases the sensitivity to ISO 100,000. The photosensitive element also supports multi-axis anti-shake and 96-megapixel high-pixel multi-shot function.
The Leica SL2-S camera also offers professional-grade 4K video, custom LUTs and unlimited video recording with independent switching between photo and video modes.
When the Leica SL2-S camera turns on the L-LOG gamma curve function, it can shoot 4K and C4K 10bit 4:2:2 high-resolution video, and the shooting frame rate can reach 60 fps. The Leica SL2-S camera will support the HEVC video compression standard and can record video in 10-bit 4K/60p (h.265) format. Also, to reduce the risk of data loss, videos can be split into 1-minute segments.
