Leica has now launched a new Summicron-M 28 f/2 ASPH lens. The price is RMB 40,800. It will be officially released on November 30 and can be used with the Leica M11-P.

Leica says the lens has improved technical characteristics and is equipped with nine elements in six groups to deliver images with sharp contrast and rich detail.

The minimum focusing distance of this lens is shortened to 0.4 meters, and when the focusing distance is greater than 0.7 meters, you can still achieve focus through rangefinder viewing. In addition, it uses a round lens hood, which is built directly into the front of the lens and can be screwed in or out with a slight twist.
