Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra camera details leaked!
A 200-megapixel camera will be included in the Galaxy S23 Ultra, according to a claim from Korea IT news citing Samsung’s Mobile Experience (MX) division. To some companies that would create “the necessary pieces,” Samsung has already provided details of its plan for creating and developing the new 200-megapixel sensor.
The report also stated that 200-megapixel sensors in a 7:3 ratio are being produced by Samsung Electro-Mechanics and Samsung Electronics. The supply chain will then probably open up to other component suppliers to make room for low-end phones with 200-megapixel cameras. The Galaxy S22 Ultra’s current 108-megapixel cameras will likely be significantly improved by a 200-megapixel camera. A 108-megapixel camera currently has the most pixels on a sensor.

Whether the company will introduce a brand-new 200-megapixel camera sensor or use an existing sensor is still up for debate. Samsung’s 200-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL HP3 is already available. Better low-light performance and multi-grain ISO for maximum dynamic range in photographs were promoted when it was first introduced. The new sensor has a 1/1.4-inch dimension, which is huge for a smartphone sensor but essential for development in mobile photography. The 0.56-micron pixels on the HP3 sensor, according to the manufacturer, are 20% smaller than the 0.64-micron pixels on the ISOCELL HP1 sensor.
