The League of Legends Taiwan server has now released the “Questions and Answers on Zhongli Terminator”, and the official has given a detailed explanation of the punishment for hanging up/leaving in the middle.

The official stated that no matter whether the game has just started or it has been 40 minutes of fierce fighting, no one wants teammates to suddenly leave and fall into a four-on-five disadvantaged situation. The official development of the “Zhongli Terminator”, this system can temporarily ban Zhongli repeat offenders to prevent their actions from negatively affecting more players.

As shown in the picture above, League of Legends officially divides punishments into levels 0 to 7, with level 0 being a warning, levels 1-3 being pairing delay, and level 4-6 being a prohibition of game matching.

According to reports, you will receive a warning (level 0) before being actually punished, but if the offline situation is serious or the frequency is too high, it may lead to a higher level of punishment. The system will notify you every time the level of punishment increases and the punishment period ends. In addition to the penalties mentioned above, the number of games you neutralize will also be considered a defeat, regardless of your team’s actual wins or losses.

Regarding the removal penalty, the official said that the only way to remove the penalty is to wait for the penalty time to expire (level 4+), or wait for the matchmaking delay and play the specified number of games (level 1-3). There is no way to manually remove these penalties, nor can you recover hidden or alliance points you lost due to neutralization or netting.
