Tencent game security center announced the “League of Legends” 2022 purification results. Officials said that in 2022, the game deliberately send heads of players reduced by about 50%, in the game to send abusive remarks, hanging players reduced by about 1/3.

Officials said that for malicious advertisements, malicious abusive remarks, illegal nicknames and other violations, Tencent’s game security team continuously maintained monitoring and cracked down on them. 1,385,002 malicious abusive messages were intercepted and 893,842 malicious advertising harassments were blocked on average every day in 2022. Officials imposed severe and rapid penalties on accounts that sent advertising invitations, blocking an average of about 30,000 malicious accounts per day.

As for hang-ups, in 2022, Tencent’s game security team cracked down on a total of 1,188 hang-ups throughout the year, covering such hang-up functions as auto-combination, skill dodging, hacking, auto-hang-up, skin changing and so on. With the continuous crackdown on hang-ups, the number of in-game cheating accounts decreased by 26% compared with 2021, while the number of reported accounts decreased by 17%.
