Lava Agni 2 phone announced: MediaTek Demensity 7050, 50 MP main camera

The Lava Agni 2 phone was officially launched in India today with a MediaTek 7050 chipset, 120Hz AMOLED display and 66W fast charging.

Lava Agni 2 features a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, supports 10bit colour depth and 950 nits peak brightness, with a 16MP front-facing cutout camera and under-screen fingerprint.

The phone is powered by MediaTek’s Demensity 7050 processor, a chip with similar performance parameters to the Demensity 1080; 50MP primary camera + 8MP ultra-wide angle + 2MP sensor on the rear.

On the software side, the Lava Agni 2 runs Android 13 with at least two major Android updates and three years of officially guaranteed security patch updates. the Agni 2 comes with a 4700 mAh battery and 66W wired fast charging.

The Lava Agni 2 is available in a cyan back cover version with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage and is made locally in India for INR 19,999 (currently about RMB 1,690).
