Supercar brand Lamborghini released a teaser video for its first all-electric model via Twitter. The 15-second video initially takes in scenes from city skyscrapers, then transitions to the eyes of a female model, followed by space, comets and other elements in turn, with the silhouette of the mysterious new car making its final appearance.

Although only the outline of the front end of the new car appears in this clip, some of the distinctive features of the new car can still be seen. The summary is below:

The front end features "=" shaped headlights.

The body stance is high, initially ruled out that the car is a supercar model.

The body stance is higher while the roof height is lower.

Combined with another teaser released by Lamborghini earlier, the car looks to have a four-seat coupe stance on the side, and the angular design carries over well from Lamborghini’s previous design language. According to Lamborghini CEO Stephan Winkelmann, the new car will be a 2+2 “grand tourer” that will be more suitable for everyday use than the Huracan or the new Revuelto.

The new car will reportedly be showcased at the Monterey Car Week on August 18th. The car will be based on a new platform called “SSP Sport”, developed under the leadership of Porsche, and is scheduled to go on sale in 2028.

According to Mitja Borkert, Lamborghini’s design director, the new car “will retain 1,000 percent of Lamborghini’s design DNA” and the future electrification of Lamborghini’s Aventador, Huracan, and SUV Urus will be completed.
