Lamborghini Lanzador electric car renderings revealed

Italian luxury sports car brand Lamborghini has released a teaser, said today will be held in Monterrey Auto Week, showing its first pure electric sports car.

According to Lamborghini CEO Stephan Winkelmann, the new car will be a 2+2 “high-performance luxury tourer” that will be more suitable for everyday use than the Huracan or the new Revuelto.

The car will be based on a new platform called “SSP Sport”, developed under the leadership of Porsche, and is scheduled to go on sale in 2028.

According to Lamborghini design director Mitja Borkert, the new car “will retain 100 percent of Lamborghini’s design DNA” and will electrify Lamborghini’s Aventador, Huracan, and SUV Urus in the future.
