KDE Plasma 5.27.5 maintenance update released

The KDE project team has released a maintenance update to Plasma 5.27.5 today, five weeks after the last release.

This update mainly improves the estimated endurance accuracy, improves Plasma’s disk and device widgets, updates the “highlight changed settings” feature, and more.

Introduced a new Flatpak Permissions page in the Settings app that no longer generates corrupt override configurations by fixing a number of major bugs; improved and enabled custom environment variables by default; fixed the “Read and Write” option for the “All User Files”. ” option for “All User Files”.

KDE Plasma 5.27.5 also improves the Plasma Task Manager window preview to correctly display text for windows that do not display their application name in the title bar or that have been customized by the user.

Emoticon selector windows take less time to open when launched with Meta+ keyboard shortcuts; improved scrolling stability on Task Manager and pager widgets.

For touchscreen users such as Plasma Mobile, KDE Plasma 5.27.5 point release now allows you to open the right-click menu of system tray icons by holding your finger on the touchscreen.
