According to foreign game media, VGChartz published the latest estimate report, Sony PlayStation 5 game host in July 2023 sold 1202932 units, the current global cumulative sales of about 40.84 million units.
The Nintendo Switch is estimated to have sold 945,001 units in July, with a cumulative total of 128.48 million units sold worldwide.
Microsoft’s Xbox Series S|X console is estimated to have sold 370,914 units in July, with a cumulative global sales volume of 22.82 million units.
Sony’s PlayStation 4 console is estimated to have sold 27,896 units in July, with cumulative worldwide sales of 117.09 million units.
The report says PS5 sales increased by 454,000 units compared to the same month in 2016 for the PS4, while Xbox Series S|X and Xbox One sales fell by 25,000 units compared to the same month; the PS4 sold 748,466 units in July 2016, and the Xbox One sold 395,790 units.
PS5 sales increased by 342,610 units compared to July last year, up 39.8% year-over-year; Nintendo Switch decreased by 52,956 units, down 5.3% year-over-year; Microsoft’s Xbox Series S|X sales decreased by 1,441,511 units, down 28% year-over-year; and Sony’s PS4 increased by 16,433 units, up 143.4% year-over-year.
