China Trademark Network shows that Mazda has applied for two new trademarks in China, “MAZDA EZ-6” and “MAZDA EZ-60”. The new trademarks may be reserved for new pure electric vehicles jointly developed by Mazda and Changan. Among them, internal The first model, code-named J90A, will be officially released at the 2024 Beijing Auto Show.

Based on previous domestic media reports, Mazda’s two new models, internally codenamed J90A and J90A-REEV, will be built based on Changan’s EPA hybrid platform and are compatible with pure electric and extended-range power.
