iQOO 12 Charging Capabilities Revealed Well Before Launch

iQOO has recently launched the iQOO 11 series of smartphones in China. In a couple of months, the company may shift its focus to the iQOO 12 series of flagship phones. Tipster Digital Chat Station has shared early details on the charging capabilities of the iQOO 12.

The iQOO 12 series may include at least two models, such as the iQOO 12 and the iQOO 12 Pro. To recall, the iQOO 10 Pro was the company’s first phone to support 200W fast charging. The same charging technology was made available on the iQOO 11 Pro.

However, the standard models, such as the iQOO 10 and iQOO 11, supported 120W fast charging. It appears that the vanilla iQOO 12 will arrive with faster charging capabilities. DCS has indirectly revealed that the iQOO 12 will offer support for either 120W or 200W wired charging. In addition, it will also offer 50W wireless charging.

DCS did not reveal any information on the other specs of the iQOO 12. The company may release the iQOO 12 series after a gap of at least six months after launching the iQOO 11 lineup. Since the iQOO 11 series was unveiled in December in China, it is likely that the iQOO 12 lineup may debut by late Q2 in the home market.

While the iQOO 11 was made available in some markets outside China, the Pro model has remained exclusive to the Chinese market. Hence, it remains to be seen whether the iQOO 12 and iQOO 12 Pro are both made available on the global market.
