iPhone users complained that the back cover of iPhone 14 Pro is not scratch-resistant

0

It’s only been two days since the iPhone 14 Pro arrived in the hands of its users, but it’s already been found to be “buggy”. A number of digital bloggers have noticed that the back of this year’s iPhone 14 Pro/Pro Max seems to be particularly prone to scratches. In Guangzhou and Shenzhen shops, some of the display units that have been on the shelves for just a day already have marks on the back that cannot be wiped off and are visible to the naked eye.

Some video bloggers have found that if you are a “dual-phone” user, you should not carry the iPhone 14 Pro in your pocket with your other phone in its bare state, otherwise the back panel of the former will be easily scratched.

However, something similar did not happen on the iPhone 11 Pro, 12 Pro and 13 Pro. The usual scratch marks can be easily wiped off.

Upon checking, while the back glass replacement price for the current generation iPhone 14 is reduced to RMB 1,298, the iPhone 14 Pro/Pro Max is a whopping RMB 3,598 and RMB 3,998 respectively. If you are particularly concerned or have plans to sell your second-hand phone in the future, it is best to protect it, such as by applying a film on the back or with a case to protect it.
