iPhone 15 Ultra may be coming with the USB-C across the board next year

Following screen analyst Ross Young’s statement that the entire iPhone 15 lineup will use the Spirit Island form factor with a cut-out screen, tipster LeaksApplePro has confirmed this from a source. He also added more about the iPhone 15 series for reference or future cross-checking:

  1. All four iPhone 15 series will ditch the Lightning lightning connector and switch to USB-C ports for all of them.
  2. The names of the four iPhone 15 series have changed and are iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Ultra.
  3. iPhone 15 Ultra will have the largest screen in the lineup and the only support for 8K video recording, and the battery life will increase by 3~4 hours over the current generation Pro Max.
  4. Next year will still be a mix of 4nm A16 processors and 3nm A17 processors.

Frankly speaking, these revelations are not beyond the scope of previous predictions, and the freshness is not particularly high.

From the point of view of time rhythm, I’m afraid that the iPhone 15 series is not even the engineering prototype now, many final features are still being finalized, and we might as well have some more patience.
