iPhone 14 series network access: standard support 29W fast charging

0

As we all know, the previous generation iPhone 13 Pro Max supports up to 27W power fast charging, which takes 2 hours and 9 minutes to charge to 100% using Apple’s 30W PD charger in a 25°C environment. Even fast charging the iPhone 13 Pro Max with Apple’s 96W PD charger takes nearly 2 hours to charge to 100%.

Compared to the Android camp, iPhone 13 series charging time is significantly behind. Currently Android has done 200W fast charging, the relevant model is the iQOO 10 Pro. With 200W super flash charging, iQOO 10 Pro can charge 4700mAh super battery to 100% in just 10 minutes.

Now that the iPhone 14 series has been released, the iPhone 14 series fast charging doesn’t seem to have made much progress from what is known.

Today’s news is that the iPhone 14 series has passed the 3C quality certification, with nominal support for up to 29W (14.5V/2A) of charging power, in line with the iPhone 13 series.

Although iPhone 14 series charging data has not yet been released, but considering that iPhone 13 Pro Max takes about 2 hours to charge to 100%, so iPhone 14 Pro Max using Apple 30W PD charger for fast charging, it may also take about 2 hours to charge to 100%, the gap with the Android camp is obvious.

From Apple’s previous upgrade strategy, iPhone 14 series charging this piece should not have any qualitative leap.
