iPhone 14 Pro Max’s Camera Module Bulges, Badly Thicker Than Two One Dollar Coins

It’s now mid-July and the iPhone 14 series has already started trial production and is scheduled for significant mass production next month. But on the same day of July 14, a production worker from Apple Foxconn exposed the aluminum drawings of Apple’s iPhone 14 Pro Max accessory open molds. We can clearly see that the camera module of the iPhone 14 Pro Max is bulging badly.

In the drawing, we learned that the iPhone 14 Pro Max will be equipped with a 6.7-inch screen with three dimensions of 160.71 x 78.58 x 7.85mm.

The thickness of the iPhone 14 Pro Max body including the camera is 12.02 mm, and the thickness with the camera module removed is 7.85 mm. That’s a camera module protrusion thickness of 4.17mm. The camera protrusion on the iPhone 14 Pro Max is 0.45mm thicker than the two dollar coins combined.

The reason for the serious bump in the camera module is because Apple has made a big change to the iPhone 14 Pro’s rear main camera this time, raising the pixels to 48 megapixels, which not only brings a great improvement to the resolution, clarity, and detail of the photo but also supports 8K video recording, which is a great boon to many users who love to take photos or record videos.
