Recently, DXOMARK has undergone one of the biggest updates and upgrades in the market, with the mobile phone imaging section entering its fifth version and new adjustments to the scoring mechanism. Now, the first mobile phone imaging score after the DXOMARK upgrade is out, from Apple iPhone 14 Pro, with a total score of 146 points, just one point behind the Honor Magic 4 Supreme Edition, coming in second in the world.

Behind it is the Huawei P50 Pro with 143 points, the iPhone 13 Pro Max with 141 points, the iPhone 13 Pro and the Xiaomi 11 Ultra.

Among the various sub-categories, the iPhone 14 Pro does have the three highest scores, 91 for preview, 139 for zoom and 149 for video.

I wonder if iPhone 14 Pro Max can take the world’s top overall score ……

DXOMARK rated the iPhone 14 Pro as a great device for documenting everyday life thanks to its excellent photo and video shooting performance, delivering a consistently great image experience and performing very well in the newly introduced user scenario score “Family & Friends”.

In most cases, its zero shutter lag allows it to capture life’s key moments with natural facial contrast, excellent skin tone rendering and, when shooting portraits, good face detail and natural background blur.

It outperforms its predecessor in every video attribute and can render HDR scenes more naturally than most of its competitors; the autofocus is excellent and the focus shift is very smooth, providing a superb video shooting experience.
