iPhone 14 and 14 Pro orders arrive today, Australian and New Zealand customers get it first

0

Due to time zone differences, it is already September 16 in Australia and New Zealand, the day the iPhone officially ships, meaning customers in these countries who pre-ordered the new iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Pro, or iPhone 14 Pro Max are starting to receive their equipment. Clearly, delighted customers will soon be sharing photos and first impressions on Instagram, Twitter, Reddit, MacRumors forums and more.

The Apple Watch Series 8 and Apple Watch SE are also available from today, but these incremental updates will undoubtedly be overshadowed by the new iPhones.

Apple doesn’t operate a retail store in New Zealand, so customers in Australia are always the first to buy new devices in offline Apple Store stores.

If you didn’t pre-order, then buying at the Apple Store or other stores like Target, Walmart or Best Buy is the only way to get the new iPhone on launch day if you want to get your hands on a machine today. The Apple Store is also expected to have a decent amount of inventory, but the popular iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max colors may be in low supply and could be snapped up quickly. It’s worth noting that the U.S. regional Apple Store has a current ship date of October for the iPhone 14 Pro model, while the standard iPhone 14 model is more readily available.

Following New Zealand and Australia, sales and deliveries of the new iPhone 14 model and the new Apple Watch will begin in Asia, the Middle East, Europe and finally North America. Many Apple Stores around the world will open early at around 8:00 a.m. local time to allow customers to pick up their pre-ordered devices and have the few available onsite.

There will obviously be plenty of iPhone 14 Pro hands-on images, experience reports, camera reviews and a series of playful studies of Lingering Island appearing next, so stay tuned.
