November 10, according to foreign media reports, after analysts’ tracking reports showed that iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max production was lower than demand, resulting in longer shipping times, Apple also posted on its official website, revealing that production at its major foundries has been affected, with production significantly reduced and users will experience longer wait times to receive their new products.

The major foundries have been affected and production has been significantly reduced. There is also a lot of concern about whether this will affect the overall production of the two high-end iPhone 14 models, especially if it will affect production before the holiday shopping season, which in turn will have a ripple effect on sales.

For the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max, some investment banks expect to produce 43 million units in the fiscal quarter ending in December, the first quarter of Apple’s fiscal year 2023.

In terms of the investment banks’ expectations, the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max, which are significantly more upgraded and in higher demand, will account for more than half of the iPhones produced in Apple’s first fiscal quarter of 2023, and they are expecting Apple to produce 85 million iPhones in that quarter.

Of course, some analysts also expect that Apple will not produce more than 80 million iPhones in the fiscal quarter, with 78.5 million expected, but 4 million will be shifted to next year’s production, driving production to 56.5 million in the subsequent quarter.
