Intel NUC 12 Enthusiast officially released: doubles in size

The NUC is the first of its kind in the world. Now, Intel has finally announced the release of the NUC, designed for gamers and content creators, and as with the previous release, the NUC lives up to its name by coming in at 2.5 liters, nearly double the size of its predecessor at 1.3 liters.

The i7-12700H processor and the A770M 16GB graphics card are at the heart of the Gorge.

The i7-12700H, an “old acquaintance”, is the flagship of Intel’s mobile graphics cards, with full-blooded 32 Xe cores, 32 optical tracking units, 256-bit 16GB GDDR6 memory and an official power consumption range of 120- 150W.

Judging from previous score results, it outperforms the RTX 3060 graphics card on the mobile side of the laptop and is more than capable of handling gaming and entertainment as well as video editing needs.

Elsewhere, the Giant Snake Canyon has an SDXC card reader, Thunderbolt 4, 3.5mm headset, USB-A on the front panel and four USB-A, 2.5G RJ-45 network port, Thunderbolt 4, 3.5mm, HDMI 2.1 on the rear, and for the first time, a DP 2.0 port.

It also supports erection placement with a stand and interchangeable case graphics.

According to official sources, the Giant Snake Canyon NUC with the kit is expected to be available in late September with a starting price of $1,180 (approximately RMB 8,721.8).
