The latest video shared by Red Gaming Tech, a reliable YouTube source, says that Intel’s 15th-generation Arrow Lake processors have seen a 45% increase in instructions per cycle (IPC) compared to the 12th-generation Alder Lake.

The video states that the 45% IPC improvement is primarily attributed to the performance core (P-core). The quantitative IPC improvement for the efficiency core (E core) is not disclosed in the video, except that it is “very impressive”.

Intel’s 15th generation Arrow Lake processor desktop chip called ARL-S, Intel can provide up to 8 performance cores and 16 efficiency cores, consumers can use up to 32 threads.

Intel’s 15th generation Arrow Lake processors will use the same LGA 1700 platform as Alder Lake and Raptor Lake, with the same package, socket and pin layout as its predecessor (Meteor Lake, or MTL-S).
