Intel launches new Core Ultra, after AMD’s Ryzen 7000 processor

AMD last year for the mobile processor proposed a new naming approach. The latest Zen4 architecture processors named 7040 and 7045 series, the old Zen2, Zen3 and Zen3+ processors replaced the 7000 series vest, named 7020, 7030 and 7035 series, respectively, to achieve the “four generations together”.

Now, Intel has also launched a new naming mechanism, abandoning the Core i brand that has been in use for 15 years, and splitting the Core brand into the new Intel Core Ultra for flagship products and the Intel Core processor brand for mainstream products, realizing two parallel product lines.

This shows that both AMD and Intel are weakening the number of product generations, while bringing some of the previous generation products into a secondary product line in the latest series.

For the average consumer, you can currently identify with the AMD 7040 and 7045 series and Intel’s Ultra series to experience the latest architecture, process and new features.
