Intel i9-13980HX flagship gaming notebook processor revealed, RWD up to 5.6GHz

According to WccfTech news, Intel will soon release the 13th generation Core mobile processors at CES early next month, of which the mobile flagship model is i9-13980HX, with 24-core specifications, and the core frequency can reach 5.6GHz.

Intel’s 13th generation Core HX series mobile processors are desktop ported, with the same specifications as desktop models and a base power consumption of 55W. The i9-13980HX is expected to be the top model of the 13th generation Core mobile processors, with 8 large cores + 16 small cores and a core frequency of 5.6GHz, and will be used in top gaming books.

In addition, the flagship model of Intel’s 13th generation Core H series is the i9-13900HK, with 6 large cores + 8 small cores and up to 5.4GHz.

According to the media, Intel’s 13th generation Core HX CPU series will compete with AMD’s upcoming Raidon 7000HX laptop CPUs, which are also ported from the desktop side and will have 16 cores and 32 threads.

Gaming notebooks with the new generation of processors are expected to be the first to be released at CES early next month, with graphics cards featuring NVIDIA’s RTX 40 mobile models.
