Intel i9-13980HX flagship game Laptop processor scores revealed

Intel released the 13th generation Core HX series high-performance mobile processors with a basic power consumption of 55W on January 3rd. Thread, the i9-13980HX flagship model turbo frequency can reach 5.6GHz.

Now, Jarrod’sTech has released Cinebench R23 scores for this processor.

According to the report, Jarrod’sTech used MSI’s GE78 HX 2023 gaming Laptop, which is equipped with the i9-13980HX processor, and the Cinebench R23 scored 2135 points for single-core and 30498 points for multi-core, which is 6% and 30% better than the i9-12950HX of Asus Scar 17 SE.

The 13th generation Core HX series mobile processors are up to 8 performance cores + 16 energy-efficient cores and support DDR5-5600 and DDR4-3200 memory. This series of processors are unclocked and support memory XMP 3.0 overclocking. In terms of connectivity, the series processors support PCIe 5.0*16, have up to two independent Thunderbolt 4 controllers, and support Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth low-power audio.

According to Intel’s official data, the i9-13950HX delivers up to 11% single-threaded performance improvement and up to 49% multi-tasking performance improvement. Gaming performance can be improved by up to 12%.

Gaming Laptop with 13th Gen Core HX Series processors is expected to be available starting in February.
