Intel i7-14700HX processor parameters revealed: 8 large cores + 12 small cores

Intel has now launched the Core 14 generation i7-14700K desktop processor, its process and architecture are unchanged, compared with the previous generation to increase four small core and improve the RWI. The same is true for the new HX series, with Geekbench data showing Intel’s upcoming i7-14700HX to be an 8-core + 12-smaller core.

As you can see above, Acer’s new laptop is equipped with the i7-14700HX processor, 8 cores + 12 cores specification, and the highest frequency in the test reaches 5462MHz.

In comparison, the current i7-13700HX processor is an 8-core + 8-core specification with a RWI of 5.0GHz.

In terms of scores, the i7-14700HX processor scored 2921 single-core points and 17475 multi-core points in Geekbench 6. The i7-13700HX scored 2725 single-core points and 13332 multi-core points in Geekbench 6. i7-14700HX multi-core scores were significantly boosted by more than 30% after the addition of the four small cores. The i7-14700HX has a significant increase in multi-core scores with the addition of four small cores, upwards of 30%.

Currently, Intel has not announced when it will launch the Core 14 HX series processors.
