Intel i5-13400 outgoing media review: 6 large cores + 4 small cores

Intel 13 generation Core non-K series processors will be launched soon, Vietnamese media nguyencongpc has now released an early review, comparing the i5-13400 with the i5-12600K.

In terms of specifications, the i5-13400 CPU has 6 large cores and 4 small cores, totaling 10 cores and 16 threads, with the main frequency of 2.5 GHz, a full-core fury of up to 4.1 GHz, a single-core fury of 4.6 GHz, 28 MB of L3 cache, and a base power consumption of 65W.

According to external media reviews, the Intel Core i5-13400 is about 10% slower than the Core i5-12600K in multi-threaded workloads and 5% slower in single-threaded workloads in Cinebench. In the PugetSystem benchmark test, the i5-13400 is 5% slower than the i5-12600K. In the Blender test, the i5-13400 is 5% slower than the i5-12600K.

In addition, the foreign media mentioned that the power consumption of this processor is slightly higher on the existing BIOS, and the motherboard supplier will launch a new BIOS at launch that will solve this problem.

Intel is expected to release the 13th generation Core non-K series processors and B760 series motherboards at CES in early January, which may be available as early as January.
