Foreign technology media Windows Central recently compared the performance of two flagship processors, Intel Core i9-13900K and AMD’s Ryzen 9 7950X.

In terms of specifications, the Intel Core i9-13900K has more physical cores and threads than AMD’s Ryzen 9 7950X, with 24 cores and 16 cores. However, Intel uses a new hybrid core design on this chip, while AMD still uses a traditional processor core design, so the number of threads is the same between the two.

Both processors are equipped with integrated graphics, and Intel’s UHD Graphics 770 is relatively more powerful. AMD’s Radeon integrated graphics are only used for video output and are not capable of heavy tasks such as gaming and video editing.

In terms of thermal design power (TDP), Intel is 125W and AMD is 170W. Both processors can achieve 200W of power from the PSU and motherboard. Although the following test data does not fully represent the accurate performance of these two processors in the real world, at least there can be a more intuitive comparison through numbers.
