According to VideoCardz, the leaked official Intel PPT basically confirms that the i5-13600 and the following models are the core of the 12th generation Core Alder Lake.

As shown above, Intel PPT confirmed that only i5K and higher models of 13th generation Core are equipped with larger L2 cache, which means i5-13600, i5-13500, i5-13400 and i3-13100 will be the vest of 12th generation Core.

The C-0 chip of the 12th generation Core has full-blooded specifications of 8 large cores + 8 small cores, and the current i5-13600 and i5-13500 may be the product of the C-0 chip shielding two large cores, while the i5-13400 may be the product of shielding two large cores + four small cores. In addition, the H-0 chip of the 12th generation Core is full-blooded with 6 large cores, and now it seems to be shielded with two large cores to make the i3-13100.

Given that the i5-13400 has only four more small cores compared to the i5-12400, Intel may discontinue the i5-12400 model to make way for the new model.
