B station UP master “EP Extreme Gamer Hall” has now revealed Intel’s upcoming lineup of 13th generation Core desktop processors, including the 4-core i3-13100 to the 24-core i9-13900K.
As shown above, most of the 13th generation Cores have increased small cores compared to the 12th generation Cores, such as the 65W i5 which had no small cores is now up to 6 large cores + 8 small cores, the i5K which had 6 large cores + 4 small cores became 6 large cores + 8 small cores, the i7 which had 8 large cores + 4 small cores became 8 large cores + 8 small cores, and the i9 which had 8 large cores + 8 small cores became 8 large cores + 16 small cores.
In terms of core, the 13th generation Core is the same as the previous generation with 24 to 32EU, and the performance should not be significantly improved.
Intel is expected to release 13th generation Core desktop processors and new 700 series motherboards in September-October, and 13th generation Core also supports 600 series motherboards. 13th generation Core will have more cores and L2/L3 cache, new DDR5-5600 memory support, and also supports DDR4-3200 memory. CPU and memory have enhanced overclocking capabilities with 16 PCIe 5.0 lanes and 4 PCIe 4.0 lanes.
