HoloLens 2 has received a total of 34 updates since its launch in 2019. In the latest update, Microsoft finally integrated the Microsoft Teams app for HoloLens 2, meaning that enterprise users can conduct real-time video conferencing on HoloLens 2.
Microsoft said HoloLens 2 integration Teams can significantly improve the efficiency of the entire assistance, support staff can wear HoloLens 2 headsets directly call others, add contacts or join group meetings. Other users in the meeting see the video feed from the wearer’s perspective.
HoloLens 2 users can now use text chat on team calls and view images or PDF files that will appear as a hologram in the headset. The update also integrates Onedrive, which keeps files on the headset in sync with other devices.
