IDC Reports 76% of Enterprise IT Decision Makers Think Apple Macs Are More Secure

According to statistics [PDF] released by the market research agency IDC, 76% of IT decision-makers believe that Macs are more secure than other computers.

47% of the companies surveyed said that Mac is more secure than other platforms and that the company’s IT department plans to purchase and use more Mac devices; 36% of IT decision-makers believe that Apple Mac is easy to deploy and manage.

The report points out that Mac and macOS provide many security features that are highly praised by enterprise customers. Attached are some of the survey results as follows:

 Apple’s Endpoint Detection API gives IT teams a way to ensure device security while maintaining user performance
