Hyundai Motor Group announced a new global strategy to transform all vehicles into software-defined vehicles (SDVs) by 2025. In response, the group said the move will usher in an unprecedented era of mobility, giving customers the freedom to remotely upgrade the performance and functionality of their vehicles anytime, anywhere.

In addition, Hyundai Motor revealed that it plans to invest 18 trillion won (about 90.18 billion yuan) of resources to build a new global software center to enhance its software capabilities and accelerate SDV development.
