It’s been almost a year, since the launch of the Huawei Watch GT 3, and now the company is about to launch a fancier version of the watch, the Watch GT 3 Pro. This is similar to the launch cycle of the previous version of the watch. Initially, Watch GT 2 was launched, and later,  GT 2 Pro came with a ceramic model and a Porsche Design mannequin. Huawei is also launching the new Band 7 for customers who are looking for something cheaper with a less noticeable design.

The Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro is launching with two models. There’s the 46mm Titanium model that’s equipped with a 1.43” AMOLED display and a battery that lasts for 14-days with typical use. Although, heavy use will drain the battery in 8-days.

Then, we have the 43mm Ceramic model that comes with a 1.32” AMOLED screen and battery that lasts 7 days but heavy use will reduce it to 4 days.

The devices are equipped with more than 100 sports modes and 18 of them are marked as “Skilled”. More than 300 golf programs are pre-loaded out of the box, making them usable as professional golf watches as well.

The water-resistance numbers are not always reliable, but the Watch GT 3 Pro is rated for free diving as deep as 30 meters. A number of features have also been added to assist during practice.

The newest addition this year is the ECG sensor. It provides more information compared to a typical heart-rate sensor. Alongside, the watch is also equipped with a blood-oxygen sensor and a thermometer. Additional, sleep and stress monitoring is available too.

Both variants run on the HarmonyOS and, with selected automobiles, they can double as keys. The charging speed has been increased by 30%. So, a ten-minute charge should be sufficient enough for the devices to run an entire day.

The price for the 46mm Titanium model of the Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro starts at 2,500 Yuan (~$380). Then, we have the 43mm Ceramic model that starts at 3,000 Yuan (~$455).

Along with these two models, customers will also have the option of a leather strap and a ceramic bracelet. Lastly, the price for the Porsche Design mannequin is 4,700 Yuan (~$710). This one will be paired with an invisible butterfly buckle. The 46mm Titanium model is already available in China for pre-order. The 43mm Ceramic model will be available for pre-order on May 4th, and the Porsche Design will arrive a day later.

Huawei Band 7 specifications, price

The new Band 7 is coming with a 1.47” AMOLED display (194x 368 px) which is 9.99 mm thick and weighs only 16g. The fitness tracker is available in 4 colors. Black, Purple, Inexperienced, and Pink with Gold Bezel.

Huawei Band 7

Besides the standard heart-rate monitoring feature, this year’s Huawei Band 7 is also equipped with a blood oxygen sensor. This can work overnight to detect the signs of sleep apnea.

The band also has 5 ATM water-resistance ranking and 96 sports modes. In terms of battery, the Band 7 will run for 14-days with typical use. However, there’s an At All Times On feature for the users to have access to information all the time. But this does drain the battery faster.

The pricing for the Huawei Band 7 is straightforward. There are two models available. The price for the base version of the Band 7 s only 270 Yuan (~$40). The second model, which is barely pricier will be available at 310 Yuan (~$46).
